Alexis King, CID, received her BFA with high distinction in Interior Architecture from the California College of the Arts in 2000. At the beginning of her design career, she practiced both commercial and residential design for two very prominent award-winning firms. Her commercial design experience at Gensler in San Francisco included Neiman Marcus - Houston, TX, Design Within Reach - multiple locations, and Gap - prototype store design. After relocating to Los Gatos, CA, Alexis joined Barbara Jacobs Interior Design as a senior designer. She worked on several high-end residential remodels including homes located in Saratoga, Monte Sereno, and Los Gatos ranging from 2200 sf - 6000sf.

Today, as Principal of Alexis King Interiors and certified in the state of California by the California Council for Interior Design Certification, she is committed to the same design and work ethic that has served her past clients so well. Alexis remains focused on residential design and her creativity, attention to detail and rigorous follow through are critical to the success of her projects. Recent projects have been located in Carmel Valley - CA, Carmel - CA, Los Gatos - CA, and Portland - OR.  Client references are always available upon request.
